The workflow
Capture
In each area, take a photo of the defect and add a short note in your own words.
Analyse
ProDefact reads the note first, then uses the photo to check it, and suggests a catalogue defect.
Review
Accept, change or reject each suggestion. Conflicts between note and photo are flagged for you.
Report
Generate a standardised PDF: cover, summary, then findings area by area, with versions.
How the AI decides
The note is the anchor; the photo is the check.
Note first
A clear note like “door frame rusty” settles the component and defect; the photo confirms it.
Conflicts flagged
If the photo clearly shows something else, the finding goes to review instead of being guessed.
Short notes work
One-word clues such as “skim” or “holo” are combined with what the photo shows.
